I graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1979. Post graduation, I attended DSC! In Madison for 1 year and then finished my undergraduate degree from Northern State in 1984. I graduated with a BS degree in education with a major in Industrial Arts and a minor in biology
I then taught for 2 years at Scranton ND and 5 years at Freeman Academy where I taught industrial arts, biology and advanced biology. I was also athletic director, head boys BB coach and head track coach. I then moved to Estelline.
While in Estelline, I have taught industrial arts and technology, biology, AP biology, PE and art. I currently teach 2 classes of technology education, art, advanced biology and industrial arts. I also am head track coach and assistant boys basketball coach.
I have been married to my wife Pam for 27 years and we have 2 children: Ashley who is currently a student at SDSU and Jeff who will be attending DSU and participating in track and field.
